Parkland Drift

During the five-day project Parkland Drift, I had the chance to contribute significantly to the game's development. My contributions included designing the core game mechanics, which focused on drifting through procedurally generated forest roads while avoiding obstacles. I also created 3D models and textures for the roads, ensuring they met the programmer's specifications. Additionally, I prepared environment chunks for procedural generation, utilizing assets from the other 3D modellers.

Beyond these tasks, I worked on the game's lighting, enhancing pre-made chunks by adding lamps with point lights and emission effects. On a global scale, I implemented a day/night cycle, complete with particle effects for stars. To further enhance the nighttime driving experience, I applied post-processing effects like bloom and ambient occlusion.
